Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains the types of information SiteBuddy may collect and how that information may be used when the service becomes operational. It is a launch-preparation draft and will be updated to reflect the final hosting, analytics, payment and AI providers before paid service begins.
1. Information you provide
SiteBuddy may collect account details such as your name, email address, authentication information, business information, website URLs, uploaded knowledge sources, chatbot configuration and support messages.
2. Visitor conversation data
When a SiteBuddy assistant is installed on a customer website, messages submitted by website visitors may be processed to generate responses and maintain conversation history. Customers should not intentionally configure assistants to collect sensitive personal information unless the final product explicitly supports and protects that use case.
3. How information may be used
Information may be used to provide the service, authenticate users, train or configure customer-specific assistants, measure usage, prevent abuse, improve reliability, provide support and comply with legal obligations.
4. Service providers
SiteBuddy will rely on third-party infrastructure for functions such as AI inference, hosting, databases, email delivery, payments and analytics. The final version of this policy will identify the categories and, where appropriate, the specific providers used.
5. Retention and deletion
Retention periods have not yet been finalized. Account owners will be given controls or support paths for deleting their account and associated business data once the backend is operational.
6. Security
SiteBuddy intends to use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent through the SiteBuddy contact page. A dedicated privacy contact address will be published before launch.
